IIST MUN is back with it's sixth edition, held on 9th and 10th of April, 2016. The heat has been turned up and the stakes have been doubled with 2 councils, for the first time in the history of IIST MUN. Consisting of the UNGA and the UNHRC, the event is bigger than ever before, with a prize money of 40k.
Unga:
Formulating guidelines to combat cyber and other forms of international espionage.
International cooperation for strengthening host countries in light of the refugee crisis.
Unhrc:
Establishing guidelines to ensure the upholding of child rights in war-torn areas.
Protecting rights of individuals who have been granted political asylum.
