was found in the year 1996 by Saraswathi Ammal Educational Trust,
by the Founder & Chairman
Mr. E.V.Velu to quench the thirst for knowledge in this literally
backward area.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering:
the Engineers are spine of the production centers and manufacturing
divisions of industries are module through this course. Students learn
through practical in the Laboratories and workshops.
Diploma In Electrical & Electronics Engineering: The Engineers behind
the Electrical Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution are
shaped though this course. The department is fully equipped with modern
machines & measuring instruments.
Diploma in Electronics & Communiocation Engineering: Communication
engineering is the back bone for all emerging technologies. The program
integrates theoretical studies with practical courses in several specialization
tracks.
Diploma in Computer Engineering: the Computer Engineering Programme offered
by the institution shapes the students to compete with the fast growing
IT industry and provides lifetime learning of new developments in
the filed. The department has
also been equipped with Internet facility under Windows Networking.
Diploma in Information Technology: The world is called as a global village
by means of technological improvements in the filed of information.
To compete with information era, information technology department
was started in the year 2001 - 2002
To gain knowledge about the advancements in the filed of computers,
the institute offers certificate course to the needy students such
as COMPUTER APPLICATION (Oracle, Visual Basic, DTP, Office2000) AUTOCAD
2000.
Cultural Sports Activities: The cultural and sports activities
encourage the students to shape their talents and the annual cultural
celebration serves as a platform to exhibit their talents.
Co-curricular activities: The various departments arrange guest
lectures and industrial visits. Students are taken to an educational
tour in the third year of course. Students participate in various
Seminars, Workshops an Competitions organized by various institution
and receive awards.
Transport: Institute buses regularly ply between Tiruvannamali
and its surrounding for students and staff. Buses are operated to
near by town such Vellore, Villupuram, Gingee, Chengam, Polur, Thirukovilor,
Tandarampet.
Hostel: Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls.
A team of wardens look after the welfare of hostel inmates round the
clock. A routine visit is made by the staff to the hostels to assist
and clear the doubts of the students in their studies.
