Applications are invited for Engineering Admission to Bharath
University, Chennai for 2008-09.
Programs Offered: B.Tech / B.Arch / M.Tech / M.B.A (Full/PartTime)
/ M.C.A (Regular/Lateral)
Important Dates to Remember:
Last Date for receving completed UG Application Forms: 29.05.2008
Last Date for receving completed PG Application Forms: 29.06.2008
Entrance Exam will be conducted all over India. Date of entrance
exam, time and venue will be communicated individually.
Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.750/-
By Post: Rs.800/-
Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft in favour of "Bharath University"
payable at Chennai. The name and address of the candidate should
be written in the reverse of the demand draft.
Application Forms:
- In Person: Application form along with prospectus
can be obtained on payment by Demand Draft from University
Admission Office or Corporate Office.
- By Post: Application form can also be obtained
by post by sending Demand Draft along with a requisition
letter.
- Through Website: Application Forms can be
downloaded from www.bharathuniv.ac.in
and send the application along with Demand Draft towards
registration fee to the below address..
Eligbility:
- UG Programmes: A pass 10+2
or its equivalent and (a) for all programs: Minimum 60%
aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (b) for
Bio-technology Bioinformatics,Biomedical: Minimum 60% aggregate
in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Admission to the B.Tech
programmes will be on the basis of qualifying examination
and entrance exam marks. For B.Arch programmes admission
will be on the basis of NATA score.
- PG Programmes: Admission
to the M.Tech / MBA / MCA programmes will be on the basis
of the entrance exam marks. Candidates with valid GATE score
are exempted from entrance examination.
- Lateral Entry: A pass in
Diploma / B.Sc (only Science Groups).
