was founded in 1987 by Shri.M.Karunanithi, B.Bharm.,M.S.,
an eminent Educationalist, a well knowm philanthropist,
a popular chemist and a famous industrialist. With his
profound experience and unique vision, he is the architect
and the driving force behind the temples of learning under
the banner of the “VIVEKANANDHA EDUCTIONAL INSTITUTIONS”.
He is modest in expression, meticulous in execution, full
of lofty ideals and clear goals, dedicated to hard work
and strong in determination. He is also the founder of
“Allwin Laboratories and MKG Foods and Feeds”.
He possesses various such attributes embellishing his
personality and captains this cruise with a definite sense
of direction and mission.
Vivekanandha Educational Institutions are committed to

Vivekanandha Institute of Engineering and Technology
for Women was started in the year 2006 with the
objective to impart high quality education in Engineering
and Technology to the younger generation with the required
skills and abilities to face the challenges needed for
the industry. The college is educating women, and in turn
the society as a whole. The Institute is also striving
hard to attain a uni-status in international level by
means of infrastructure and state of the art computing
facilities and techniques.

On entering the campus, one would be enthralled
by beautiful lawns, flower plants and huge multi- storey
buildings. The natural atmosphere maintained on the campus
gives a calm and serene atmosphere that is pleasant, healthy
and stimulating in every sense.
Spread over more than 5,00,000 sq.ft of building space,
the classroom, library, laboratories and learning centers
of Vivekanandha Educational Institutions have been designed
with meticulous attention and thoughtful design and use
of space, making it truly world class. The vibrant interiors
and exquisite finishing lends the college an ambience
that is as delightful and inspiring .
Laboratory: Our college has well equipped
laboratories in the departments of Computer Science, Electronics
and Communication, Information Technology, Electrical
and Electronics, English, Engineering Practices Lab, Phsyics
and Chemistry. The Computer labs in all the departments
are networked and provided with internet facility to enrich
the students knowledge.
Library: The Library of Vivekanandha Institute
of Engineering & Technology for Women has set its
vision “to satisfy the user community”. The
3 main sections of the Library.
1) The stock room with reference section
2) The reading hall with periodicals section
3) The circulation/reprography/administration section
The unique feature of our library is the compulsory library
hour, which is included in the student's timetable (one
hour per week for each class). It gives the students ample
time to use the Library facility.
Hostel: Well furnished hostels are situtated
inside the college campus. The rooms are available for
all students. The hostel provides hygienic pure vegetarian
food using the latest steam cooking technology.
The hostel has regular supply of cold and hot water with
parallel tap system. Purified water is supplied for drinking
purpose. On demand, Special rooms with attached bath room
are also provided to the inmates.

Vivekanandha Educational Institutions provides
carrier guidance and placement facilities to the under
graduate and postgraduate students. The cell is dedicated
to advise the students on career options, personality
development, communication skill and project guidance.
In campus / off campus interviews are arranged. The other
services provided by the cell include resume writing /
screening, mock Interviews & specialized career /
employment preparation workshops. Several students have
already been placed in multinational companies like Wipro,HCL,Sathyam,
Pfizer, Ranbaxy and Dr.Reddy's Lab, CTS. Our students
are also placed in various public sector organizations.
