R.V.S. Educational Trust was established in 1984 by
Dr.K.V.KUPPUSAMY, an Industrialist - turned Educationist in memory
of his son Thiru Rathinavel Subramaniam. In 1985, R.V.S.College
of Engineering & Technology, Dindigul was founded by the Trust.
The mission of the Institution is to produce highly competent Engineers
and quality Technocrats through continual improvement of the standards
of the excellence in teaching, training and research.

Master of Computer Application (MCA): An exclusive Lab with higher
end hardware running on Linux, Windows 2000 LAN Novell Netware; Latest

Master of Business Administration (MBA): Experienced and devoted
faculty, Experts from Industries, excellent library facilities, and
project work at reputed organizations and industries are the highlights
of this Department. The students are groomed through innovative methods
like case studies, group discussion, seminars, Role playing, interacting
with industry, to fit in with the Competitive corporate sector.
M.Sc. (Computer Technology): Experienced faculty, updated curriculum
well equipped IT Lab with latest software like XML, DHTML, COLDFUSION,
DREAMWEAVER, FRONT PAGE 2000, BIZ TALK and an exclusive Departmental
Library are salient features.
M.Sc. (Software Engineering): Experienced faculty, updated curriculum
to cope with the latest technology, Pentium machines and Training in
latest software like Oracle, D2k, VC++, Java, Java Beans, Prel, ASP,
JSP are Salient features.
Library: The Library has more than 30,000 volumes, numbers Video
& Audio Cassettes. It subscribes for 44 Foreign and 99 Indian Journals.
It is open from 9.00 a.m to 7.30 p.m. The whole library work is computerized.
Co- Curricular Facilities: Tracks for athletic events, Playgrounds
for Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, Tennicoit,
Tennis Court, Indoor stadium, well equipped multipurpose gymnasia separately
for boys and girls.

A separate cell leaded by a Staff to assists the students to obtain their projects
during their final year studies. Apart from this, the cell invites
a number of prospective employers for the placement of our students.
We conduct campus interviews and global job placements for the deserving
students. Many students are being placed in reputed companies in India
and abroad.
