Jerusalem Educational Trust was formed and registered in the year 1993 as
a Charitable Trust. It is constituted by a group of philanthropists,
educationists and industrialists. It has the main objective of promoting
higher education in India in the fields of Engineering and Technology,
Medicine, Dentistry and Paramedical works as well as Arts & Science,
Commerce and Physical Education. In keeping with this objective, the
Trust established Jerusalem College of Engineering in 1995
to train our young men and women as gifted, brilliant engineers capable
of serving the community.
All the courses offered by Jerusalem College of Engineering are approved by
AICTE, New Delhi. It is a private, self-financing, co-educational
Institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Ever since its
inception, the college has been doing its best to offer high quality
education in Engineering and Technology. Besides, it also strives
relentlessy to help them develop an assertive and committed personality.

The College has several imposing multi-storied building with all amenities to
accommodate class rooms, laboratories, library, drawing halls, offices,
research centre, recreation halls, seminal hall (seating capacity
300 A/C), sports room, placement cell, canteen and fine arts clubs.

The final year students undergo training in various prestigious organizations
and to enable them to be employed early a placement cell on the campus
regularly monitors the employment potentials and arranges interviews
for the final year students. A fully qualified and experienced full
time officer Mr. Sravan Kumar is incharge of the placement cell on
the campus to suitably guide the students by arranging campus recruitment
programmes and interaction sessions with prospective employers of
reputed organizations. Our students are ably counseled to attend the
various campus interviews. The Communications Skills and Personality
Development classes go a long way in helping students build self-confidence.
A good number of students are employed through the placement cell
in software industries in India and abroad. The college has entered
into an agreement with Microsoft through which Microsoft will conduct
training and also recruit successful students. The placement cell
envisages a bright and prosperous future for all our engineers-to-be.
