V.P.M.M.
Engineering College For Women is run by VPMM Educational Trust
along with other institutions such as a Matriculation School and
an Arts & Science College for Women. This Institution has been
established during the academic year 2002-2003 and is approved by
AICTE, New Delhi, The college is affiliated to Anna University Chennai
and is located on the Madurai. Quilon Main Road, NH 208. There is
a hostel attached to the college with all necessary facilities.
The laudable aim of the V.P.M.M. Engineering College for Women is
to provide qualitative and fruitful engineeirng education to the students
by offering modernised teaching and training, by undertaking valuable
research programmes and by exchanging consultancy activities with
outstanding organisations / industries. It is also the noble objective
of this institution to make the students realise and adopt in their
life, the dignity of labour, the significance of discipline and the
invaluable price of human virtues.

A
two storied permanent RCC building has 20 lecture halls and other
supporting labs. Every is provided with large, spacious and airy classrooms
and other common facilities such as staff room, library, seminar hall,
rest rooms, toilets etc., making it completely self contained one.
Laboratory: The laboratories are well equipped with state-of-art
equipments, Computers with Internet facilities that provide students
with extensive resources and support to facilitate their academic
and professional development.
Library: Unlike the king's treasury, library is the treasure
house opened for academicians and students. The library houses about
5000 books covering different branches of Science, Engineering &
Technology. Also journals of national and international standards
to keep the students well informed in the above fields, are available.
The library provides a serene atmosphere for deeper and concentrated
study.
Hostel: A well-furnished hostel, with Modern Kitchen and Spacious
Dining Halls are available. The Mess provides students, a Homely,
Hygienic and Healthy Food at reasonable prices. Different menus are
also available for other state students. Warden is any time available
to take care of maintenance of discipline, academic interest etc.,
in the hostel. Amenities like PCO / STD and recreation are also provided.

department plays a vital role for the job placement services, implant
training of previous year students and final year projects for all
the courses under various Government organisations and corporate bodies.
Personality Development programmes are being undertaken for the benefit
of the students.

from Madurai and 8 Kms from Srivilliputhur. The campus is spread over
100 acres of land in a calm, natural and serene atmosphere, much conducive
