Applications are invited for Admission to 5 Year (10 Semester)
B.Arch Degree Programme offered at University Department of
Anna University, Chennai; Government Aided Institution (Self-Supporting
Programme), and the seats surrendered by un-aided Self-Financing
Engineering Colleges for the academic year 2007-2008.

Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.500/- (General) and Rs.250/- (Tamil Nadu SC/ST
candidates)
By Post: Rs.550/- (General) and Rs.280/- (Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates)
Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Director, Admissions, Anna University,
Chennai" payable at Chennai from any Nationalised bank. The
name and address of the candidate should be written in the reverse
of the demand draft.
Application Forms:
- In Person: Application form can be obtained
on payment by Demand Draft at the Examination Centre, Anna
University, Chennai.
- By Post: From "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu
Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai
- 600 025" by sending a letter along with DD and an
address label written in capital letters to which the application
is to be mailed.
Eligibility:
1. Candidates shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary
Examination of (10 + 2) curriculum with Mathematics, Physics
and Chemistry as subjects of study with an overall aggregate
of not less than 50% of marks in the qualifying examination.
However, for Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates who have passed 10+2
or its equivalent examinations. Or 3 years Diploma, with Mathematics
as one of the subjects are also eligible.
2. Candidate must written the National Aptitude Test for Architecture
(NATA) 2007 conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
3. Admission to B.Arch. Degree Programme is based on the Qualifying
Examination (200 marks) and NATA (200 marks).
4. The details regarding Rule of Reservation, etc., are available
in "Information and Instruction to Candidates" issued
along with the application form and also at the website www.annauniv.edu/barch2007.
The completed application forms along with the Xerox copies of
Mark Sheet(s) and copies of all other relevant documents should
reach "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions
(TNEA), Anna University, Chennai - 600 025" on or before
04.07.2007, by 05:30 PM.

Note: Candidates seeking admission under Special
reservation category should enclose separate special reservation
application along with the main application together with DD
