The College is run under the aegis of Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari Trust
founded by Sri S.S Sankaralingam. The aim of the trust is to
establish various educational institutions to impart general and technical
knowledge to the younger generations, to meet the global need. The
trust is committed to provide B. Pharm and D. Pharm courses of quality
and excellence that will produce pharmacists who will contribute towards
all aspects of Pharmacy practice.
Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari College of Pharmacy is located on the Sivakasi -Virudhunagar
Highway at Door No. 3/77-C, Anaikuttam Road, Anaikuttam - 626 130,
Sivakasi. It is 8 Km from Sivakasi. It possesses a permanent spacious
academic building with all amenities and infrastructure in a area
of 27 acres. It is a Co-educational Institution. Priority is given
to Discipline and Quality in Education.

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY
The Department, since its inception has grown tremendously in academic and research
activities. The Laboratories are equipped with highly sophisticated
instruments to carry any qualitative and quantitative analysis. These
research articles and reports have been published in many of the reputed
national and international journals.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICS
The Department, since its inception has grown to match the international standards
of academic and research activities. The department possesses modern
equipments and instruments in all laboratories creating industrial
environment. It helps the staff and students to predict the solubility,
stability, compatibility and biological action of drugs in various
dosage forms.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOGNOSY & PHYTOCHEMISTRY
The Department, since its inception has highlighted its excellence in teaching and
research. It has excellent laboratory facilities for identification,
extraction and isolation of active constituents from the medicinal
plants. With the aid of dedicated and experienced faculty members
specialized in the emerging fields, the students have made lards in
cosmetics, herbal formulation and its standardization.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY & TOXICOLOGY
The Department, since its inception has shown excellent performance in various area
like Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, Pharmacotherapeutics and
toxicology. The department also provides opportunities in drug testing
and studying the mechanism of drug reactions in animals.
LIBRARY
Library is storehouse of knowledge. The College Library is spacious and well
stacked with innumerable volumes of books, national, international
Journals, reprographic services and internet facilities.
