The concept of total health care involves medical teams comprising specialists
supported by efficient, knowledgeable and service oriented paramedical
personnel. It was with this idea the R.V.S. College of Pharmacy
was bourn under the aegis of the Dr. M.G.R Medical University,
Chennai. There is also a D.Pharm Course affiliated to the Directorate
of Medical Education, Chennai. The Pharmacy Council, Government of
India has approved the institution. The College offers its degree
and diploma student's sound theoretical and practical training. The
top of the line laboratories help in the better understanding of pharmacology,
toxicology, pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical chemicals. Her the students
are trained to be professionals. The well-stocked library, hostel,
association activities and audio-video facilities help all round student
development.
The Principal aim of the institution is to provide practical training,
inculcate analytical and reasoning abilities and technical skills
in actual work situations.The College is committed to maintain high
standards of academic excellence.

The library spreading about 2500 sq. ft. lodges more than 3280 titles and 26436
volumes of books in addition to 35 journals subscribed regularly.
The library is open for students till 7.00 P.M.Facilities for xeroxing
the books is also available for the student. Students can also make
use of computer and internet facilities provided to them within the
campus.
