Rendering yeoman service for quality health care of the community at large is
RVS College of Nursing, with the Motto 'To serve with love'.
It is the love for humanity, which is the fundamental basis of nursing.
The college is affiliated to The Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai
(1993) and is recognized by the Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai,
and the Nursing Council of India. The four-year program develops overall
competencies in nursing skill based on scientific and restorative
health care practices. Practical training is arranged at the Government
Hospitals at Tiruppur, Dindigul etc. The Trust's own hospital is coming
up. The service-oriented students extend clinical support to the far-flung
Community Health Center located in rural pockets of Selekarichal,
Lakshminayakanpalayam and Kadambadi. Nursing assistance is also volunteered
to Government Hospitals at Sulur and Palladam. Like any other institution
under the RVS fold, the College is complete with library, hostel and
playground and Placement Cell.

Well-equipped simulation labs for various specialties as per INC specification are
available. Fundamentals of Nursing and Medical and Surgical Nursing
; Community Health Nursing; Pediatric Nursing; Obstetrics and Gynecological
Nursing; Audio Visual and Anatomy Lab, All these labs are open for students
use through out the day. Students can practice their Nursing skills
under the able guidance of the staff.
Our College library is well lit and ventilated area with a seating capacity
for 100 students, with easy accessibility for references and borrowing.
The total number of book titles in the Nursing category is about 500.The
total number of books for issuing is approximately 2000 in number.These
include titles in the following Subjects: Fundamental of Nursing, First
Aid, Bio-Chemistry, Sociology, Microbiology, Physiology, Anatomy, Diabetics,
Pathology, Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gyneacology,
Medical Surgical Nursing, Psychiatry, Community Healthy Nursing, Nursing
Education and Management, Research, Professional trends, Specialities,
Pharmacology and also some journals are available.
