Nehru College of Educational
and Charitable Trust, established at an auspicious
moment in the year 1968, with the primary objective of
rendering selfless, dedicated and yeomen service to cause
of higher education originally in the field of Aeronautical
Engineering and subsequently in the field of rest of engineering
branches, Management, Arts, Science, and Paramedical Sciences
and has added feather after feather to its Cap. Its educational
service to the poor underprivileged and downtrodden in
the society is freely accessed and widely appreciated
by the people, especially from Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Over the period of nearly four decades, it has established
and patronized a number of prestigious Educational Institutions,
all of which have grown to the stature of being accredited
with ISO 9001:2000 certification by the International
Certification Services. The Trust headquartered at Coimbatore
has two years back spread its wings to the neighbouring
Kerala State too by establishing Educational Institutions
of high reputation.
Nehru Institute of Information Technology and Management,
is one of the prestigious Institutions in Tamilnadu, offering
2 years Full-Time MBA Programme and 3 years Full-Time
MCA programme approved by AICTE, recognized by UGC and
affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Its

is a library. Nehru Institute of Information Technology
& Management has a computerized digital library, which

Computer Lab: The evolution of computer

and originality are nurtured in the lab. The College has

labs. The labs offer 24 hours Internet facility with newly-erected
computer of last configuration.
Language Lab: Perfections and Fluency
in spoken and Written English are required for effective
and appealing communication. We have good collection of
audio and video materials to train our students in grammar,
sentence construction, precis writing, correct usages,
paragraph writing, story writing, letter writing, essay
writing, dialogue writing and paraphrasing and facilitate
our students to become confident in speaking and writing
English authoritatively and attractively.
Management Lab: The lab help the students
to synergize the planning, forecasting, reporting and
feedback system of different companies of to-days world.
Our college teaches this as a part of its curriculum for
management students. It involves DRS, WRS, MRS, Forecasting,
Case analysis, Role playing, Management games, Balance
Sheet Analysis mobilization of capital etc.
Hostel: The college has separate hostels
for girls and boys with state-of-the-art infrastructure,
telephone, cable connection and all modern amenities.
All the hostel are posted with security personal of reputed
external security service providers. Weour hostels home
away from homes.Well managed hostel and recreational facilities

The training and placement cell established
in our college tries to provide opportunities for the
students to get into reputed industries and organizations.
Our students are moulded to be generic and hence cater
to any industry. High performance test-solutions fulfills
the unique requirement of each student. The cell organizes
training programmes like group discussions, mock-interview
and personality development programmes by renowned personality
development trainers and HR professionals.
HRD Cell: This cell carries out Personality
Development Programmes, Entrepreneurial Development Programmes
and Placement activities. The customized soft skills training
programme and continuous industry interactions have made
our students more acceptable as result oriented and relevantly
qualified in the Corporate world. HRD Cell’s role
in identifying, guiding and shaping students with excellents

Nehru Institute of Information and Technology
