National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi invites applications for admission to Ist Year of the 3-Year Bachelor of Science Programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration for academic session 2009 - 2010.

Date of Examination: 09.05.2009 (10.00 AM to 01.00 PM)
Date of issue of application form commences from: 16.02.2009
Receipt of filled in Application Forms: On or before 10.04.2009
Merit based counseling for allotment to Institute: 3rd Week of June, 2009
Commencement of Academic Session: 21.07.2009

Application Cost: Rs.800/- for General and Rs.400/- for S.C., S.T. categories

Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Through DD: Bank draft for Rs.800/- (Rs.400/-) in favour of "National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, payable at Noida.".
Application Forms:

• In Person: Candidate can obtain a Application Form from the Institutes of Hotel Management / Food Craft Institutes and branches of Canara Bank. The Institutes of Hotel Management / Food Craft Institutes and branches of Canara Bank is available on Council's website www.nchmct.org.
  
  
• Through Website: Application and Information Brochure can also be down loaded from Council's website www.nchmct.org. Down Loaded Application Form duly filled should be sent by Registered Post / Speed Post only to the above given address enclosing therewith requisite fee of Rs.850/- for General/ OBC categories and Rs.450/- for SC / ST / PH categories through Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, payable at Noida. The down loaded Application without requisite fee shall be invalid.
  
  

Eligbility:

• Should have passed +2 stage of 10+2 system or equivalent examination in any stream with English as one of the subjects. Candidates appearing in +2 or equivalent examination in 2008 can also apply.
  
• 22 years as on 1st July 2008 in case of General and PH Categories 25 years as on 1st July 2008 for SC and ST Categories
  

The completed applications should reach the examination section of the institute on or before 27.03.2009.
