The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has invited applications for the 01.06.2009 entrance examination for admission to the MBBS course starting on August 1.

Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.1000/- for General and Rs.800/- for S.C., S.T. categories
By Post: Rs.1050/- for General and Rs.850/- for S.C., S.T. categories

Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
1.On Cash payment: From State Bank of India between 15.01.2009 to 21.02.2009.
2.Through DD: Bank draft for Rs.1,050 (Rs.850) in favour of MBBS Entrance Examination, 2009 payable at New Delhi. Super-scribe 'Request for Application form for MBBS Entrance Examination, 2009'.
Application Forms:

• In Person: Candidate can obtain a packet containing (i) OFFLINE Application Form (ii) Information Brochure (iii) Acknowledgment Card (iv) Envelope from State Bank of India between 15.01.2009 to 21.02.2009.
  
  
• By Post: For getting forms by registered post, send a request to the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi - 110 608, so as to reach the addressee on or before February 21. Enclose an account-payee bank draft for Rs.1050 (Rs.850) in favour of MBBS Entrance Examination, 2009 payable at New Delhi. Eligbility:

• Those who have passed Plus-Two or equivalent examinations with physics, chemistry, biology and English with at least 60 per cent marks (50 per cent for the physically challenged and those belonging to the SC and ST) in aggregate in these subjects may apply.
  
• Students expecting their Class 12 results by July 7 are also eligible. The candidates should be 17 as on December 31, 2009.
