Applications are invited for Admission to Vinayaka Missions
University, Salem Engineering programs conducted in two campuses
- Vinayaka Mission's Kirupanandha Variyar Engineering College,
Salem and Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, Chennai for
2007-08.
Programs Offered: B.E, B.Arch, M.E, M.B.A, M.C.A
Important Dates to Remember:
Issue of Application Forms: 11.03.2007
Last Date for Issue/Receipt of Application Forms with D.D: 02.05.2007
The Entrance Exam will be conducted on 15.05.2007
Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.300/-
By Post (including postal charges): Rs.400/-
Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Demand Draft in favour of "Vinayaka Missions University"
payable at Salem / Chennai from any Nationalised bank. The name
and address of the candidate should be written in the reverse
of the demand draft.
Application Forms:
- In Person: Application forms can be obtained
from the nearest Head / Sub Post Office or from our Chennai
/ Salem office on payment by Cash.
- By Post: Application form can also be obtained
by post by sending Demand Draft along with a requisition
letter and a self addressed slip to any of the below address.
- Through Website: Application Forms can be
downloaded from the websites www.vinayakamission.com,
www.vmkvec.ac.in,
www.avit.ac.in
and send the application along with Demand Draft towards
registration fee.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on merit, based on the marks secured
in the entrance examinations conducted on All India basis. The
college and course will be allotted through counselling. Admission
to B.Arch will be subject to the Aptitude Test to be held seperately
conducted by NATA.
Eligbility:
UG: A pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination
with Maths, Physics and Chemistry for all courses. Physics,
Chemistry and Maths or Biology candidates are eligible for Bioinformatics,
Biomedical and Biotechnology courses.
PG: A Pass in Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
in the relevant area of specialisation. Candidates appearing
for final examination in March / April 2007 can also apply.
The completed application forms should reach any of the below
address on or before 02.05.2007.
