Important Dates to Remember:
Last Date for Issue of Application Forms: 12.04.2007
Last Date for Issue of Application Form other than Chennai city
and by post: 30.04.2007
Last Date for Issue/Receipt of Application Forms in person:
05.05.2007
The Entrance Exam will be conducted on 26.05.2007 and 27.05.2007
Application Cost:
Cost of Application Forms (In Person): Rs.300/= (General) and
Rs.150/- (SC/ST)
Cost of Application Forms (By Post): Rs.330/= (General) and
Rs.180/- (SC/ST)
Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Director, Entrance Examinations,
Anna University" payable at Chennai from any Nationalised
bank on or after 08.04.2007. The name and address of the candidate
should be written in the reverse of the demand draft.
Application Forms:
- In Person: Application forms can be had on
payment of cash from the selected branches of Karur Vysya
Bank Ltd and by Demand Draft from the following Co-ordinating
Centres: Anna Universy, Chennai; Govt. College of Technology,
Coimbatore; Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai;
Govt. College of Engineering, Salem; Bishop Heber College,
Trichy and Govt. College of Engineering, Tirunelveli.
- By Post: From "The Secretary, TANCET
2007, Examination Centre, Anna University, Chennai - 600
025" by sending a letter along with DD and an address
label written in capital letters to which the application
is to be mailed.
- Through Website: Fill the Online Application
from the website www.annauniv.edu/tancet2007
and send the application along with Demand Draft towards
registration fee to the below address.
Eligbility:
M.B.A.: A pass in any Degree (10 + 2 + 3) pattern
M.C.A.: A pass in any recognised Bachelor's Degree of minimum
10 + 2 + 3 years duration in any discipline with core Mathematics
at +2 school level. (Or) Mathematics / Statistics as one of
the subjects at the degree levels.
M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan: Details of eligibility are available
in the Information Booklet and also in website www.annauniv.edu/tancet2007
Those who are appearing for final year / semester examination
in April / May 2007 can also apply for TANCET 2007.
The completed application forms should reach "The Secretary,
TANCET 2007, Examination Centre, Anna University, Chennai -
600 025" on or before 05.05.2007, by 05:30 PM. |
