March 05, 2007 - National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET 2007)

Applications are invited for National Level Common Entrance Test NIMCET 2007 for the session 2007-08, conducted by NITs for admission to MCA programme offered by the following NITs: MNNIT, Allahabad; MANIT, Bhopal; NIT, Calicut; NIT, Durgapur; NIT, Jamshedpur; NIT, Kurukshetra; NIT, Raipur; NITK, Surathkal; NIT, Tiruchirappalli and NIT, Warangal.

Important Dates to Remember:
Last Date for Receipt of Application Forms with DD: 23.03.2007
The Entrance Exam will be conducted on 20.05.2007 (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

Rs.700/- (General) and Rs.350/- (SC/ST)

Eligbility:
Candidates with 60 per cent marks (6.5/10 CGPA) in bachelor's degree of full-time three-year duration from a recognised university with mathematics / statistics / business mathematics as one of the subjects in any one semester / year, both at the graduation and 10+2 levels are eligible. For SC/ST candidates, the percentage of marks required is only 55 per cent (6.0/10 CGPA).

The completed application forms should reach "Convener, NIMCET-07, NIT Durgapur, NIT Campus, Durgapur - 713 209, West Bengal" on or before 23.03.2007.
