The K.S.R. College of Engineering
was started in the millennium year 2001. The college is located in the
village of KUCHIPALAYAM in a spacious area of 50 acres, 10 kms from
ERODE and to the right side of the Erode - Triuchengode State Highway.
The college comes under "AARTHI EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST"
which has been founded by Thiru. R. Srinivasan, BBM, MISTE, Managing
Trustee. He is young and eminent philanthropist-par-excellence in the
Temple city of Tiruchengode.
Aarthi Educational and Charitable Trust was formed in the year 1997. To start with, a Polytechnic in the name and style of "Aarthi Polytechnic" was started in the same year 1997.
The nearest railway station is Erode Junction through which trains from Kerala, Karnataka, Bokharo and Chennai pass through. It is also well connected by long distances buses to various places.
The nearest Airport to our college is COIMBATORE, at a distance of 100 kms reached by National Highway - NH 47.

Infrastructure
An all-encompassing education necessitates
the best of infrastructure. It is ensured that the students are not
deprived of any facility that may result in hampering their growth.
Every possible infrastructure that can be accommodated on campus is
made available.
The library is the source of enrichment for the mind and soul. Spread over 20000 sq.ft., it is an extremely spacious and hi-tech library. With a collection of over 22000 volumes and 301 journals (151 National journals & 90 International journals) it houses all the latest editions. The best of books authored by the finest writers are available to satiate the thirst for knowledge of the students as well as the faculty.
Internet facilities are available round the clock. With 1MB bandwidth, the students and faculty enjoy unlimited access. This has been made possible, thanks to the merging of the Information Super Highway with the college.
Students can feel at home at the hostels available for both boys and girls. Since the hostel serves as a mélange of various cultures, the students are encouraged to work out their own menus.
A fleet of buses serve as conveyance facilities for day-scholar students & staff members. Plying up to Erode, Bhavani, Salem, Namakkal, Rasipuram, P.Velur and Sankari, the buses operate within a radius of 50 km radius. There is even an in-house workshop to carry out the services and repairs of the vehicles.
OTHER FACILITIES ON-CAMPUS: A well-furnished guest house, Staff quarters, separate Cafeteria for boys, girls & faculty, Stationery store, Telephone booths, Xerox Facilities, Internet, Water Coolers, Banking & Digital Library

Placement
The College has a full-fledged placement cell with a full time well experienced Placement Officer. He is assisted by the placement Co-ordinators of each department. The placement cell also looks after Career Guidance Programs, Inplant Training Programs and Project Guidance to improve the knowledge and skills of the students in various fields. The Placement Cell arranges Campus / Off-Campus interview for the students by inviting several Companies.
