EMPOWERING: The inaugural session of work force development programme under way at Vickram College of Engineering.
Sivagangai: A short-term ‘workforce development programme,’ conducted in association with Oracle University, was inaugurated at Vickram College of Engineering, Enathi, Sivaganga district, on Saturday. M. Palanikumar, Principal, in his inaugural address, highlighted the need for such programmes that would not only enrich the knowledge of students but also make them readily employable.
Fifty students are attending the programme and on successful completion they will be award ed certificates issued by the Oracle University. S. Nagarajan welcomed the gathering and G. Suresh Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science Education, explained the salient features of the programme. Jeyapal Sathiasaran proposed a vote of thanks.
