Office-bearers have been elected from various colleges

Erode: Self-financing engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University-Coimbatore, have come together to form an association.

A release that was issued by the association says the managements started the organisation on November 8 in Coimbatore.


Elected
The following members have elected office bearers: J. Sudhanandhen of Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, Perundurai, president; K. Paramasivam of Maharaja group of institutions honorary president, A.K. Natesan of Excel group of institutions, Komarapalayam, secretary, and P. Mahendran of Mahendra group of institutions treasurer.

The following are the vice presidents: M. Karunanithi of Vivekanandha group of institutions, Tiruchengode, Murugesan of Ranganathan Engineering College, P.C. Palanisamy of Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, and P. Sathiyamoorthy of Maharaja group of institutions.

Joint secretaries: Baladhandayuthapani of Sengunthar Engineering College, Tiruchengode, Chinraj of Coimbatore Institute of Engineering, Eswaramoorthy of Eswar Engineering College, Kandasamy of Sasurie Engineering College, Vijayamangalam, Ramesh of Jayam Engineering College, Ramakrishnan of M.Kumarasamy Engineering College and A.K.
