Madurai: A week-long training programme in ‘Instructional design and delivery system’ for faculty members of Sethu Institute of Technology was inaugurated by its chairman, S. Mohamed Jaleel, on November 3. Fifty faculty members attended the programme which was conducted by National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research.


Faculty members were trained in teaching methods for engineering students; use of educational media; understanding the psychology of adolescent students; preparing lesson plans and constructing question papers. A team from the NITTTR, led by D. Brahadeeswaran, used micro teaching techniques in the programme.
