Madurai: K.L.N. College of Engineering signed a memorandum of understanding with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited recently.
The MoU envisages BSNL as a preferred vendor of telecom services for KLNCE.
In turn, BSNL will share its expertise with the faculty and students, besides providing in-plant training, industrial visits and projects.
It will also provide its experts for seminars, workshops and conferences.
The MoU was signed as a part of industry-academia collaboration.
The signing was performed at a simple ceremony.
R.T. Sakthidaran, Dean (Academic), delivered the welcome address.
V. K. Sanjeevi, General Manager, BSNL (Madurai), briefed about the technologies used in the telecom industry.
