Counselling for vacant MBBS seats on September 29
Chennai: Seven MBBS seats vacant in government medical colleges,
allotted under the all-India quota, will be filled by the Selection
Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, on September 29.
One BC seat each is available in the Thanjavur Medical College
and the Coimbatore Medical College, two BC seats in the Theni
Medical College, one MBC seat each in the Coimbatore Medical
College and the Dharmapuri Medical College and one SC seat in
the Government KAP Viswanathan Medical College, Tiruchi. Counselling
will begin at 9 a.m.
The same day, counselling will also be held to fill MBBS seats
in Sree Moogambigai Medical College and BDS seats in the Government
Dental College.
Three BC seats, one MBC seat and four SC seats are available
in Sree Mookambigai College under the government quota. In the
Government Dental College, 10 seats are available for BCs, of
which two will go to BC (Christians), nine seats for MBCs and
eight seats for SCs, says a release.
Students who are selected must be ready to report at college
by 3 p.m. on September 30.
