Vinayaka Missions University convocation on July 6
Salem: Over 2,300 students will be presented with their degree
certificates during the first convocation of Vinayaka Missions
University on July 6. Pro-Chancellor S. Sharavanan, addressing
reporters here on Wednesday, said that a total of 129 gold ,
88 silver and 24 bronze medals would be presented to the students
for their best academic performance.
Indira Gandhi National Open University Vice-Chancellor and Chairman
of Distance Education Council V.N. Rajasekaran Pillai would
be the chief guest. Chancellor A. Shanmugasundaram will preside.
The kumbabishekam of the 1008 Sivalaya Kailayam would be held
on July 7. The Vinayaka Missions would conduct ‘annadhanam’
from July 4 to 7 near the temple.
Vinayaka Missions University here has initiated steps to set
up a University in United States and Sikkim in the country.
Pro-Chancellor of Vinayaka Missions S. Sharavanan told reporters
here on Wednesday in connection with first convocation of the
Missions scheduled to be held on July 6.
