College gets helicopter

Coimbatore: Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences has acquired a helicopter for training purposes.


According to a college release, the helicopter will be an addition to the existing eight aircraft that are used for practical training.

The training is extended to students pursuing the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course, which is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, New Delhi.

Director of Malhotra Helicopters Private Limited M. Malhotra handed over the relevant documents and key of the chopper to Secretary of the college P. Krishnakumar in the college premises.
