TNAU announces counselling schedule
Classes to begin on July 23
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will begin
counselling for its 12 undergraduate programmes on June 23.
According to a release from K. Vanangamudi, Dean (Agriculture),
the university will follow the single window system for admi.
The programmes are B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Horticulture),
B.Sc. (Forestry) and B.Sc. (Home Science). The B.Tech. programmes
are in Horticulture, Food Processing Engineering, Energy and
Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Agricultural
Engineering and Agricultural Information Technology. B.S. in
Agribusiness Management is also being offered. The last date
for receipt of filled-in applications is June 9.
First phase of counselling for general category will be held
from June 23 to 28; while the second phase will be held on July
7. Counselling for special reservations like ex-servicemen,
candidates with disability, sports quota, etc., will be held
on the forenoon of June 30. Counselling for vocational stream
will be held on the afternoon of June 30.
Registration for the new academic year and classes will begin
on July 23. Applications can be obtained from the Dean, TNAU,
or from any of the constituent colleges. They can also be downloaded
from the university website www.tnau.ac.in. For details, contact
