KLN College of Engineering celebrated ‘Appointment
Order Distribution Day’ recently.
M. Yamuna Anandavalli Senior General Manager, - HR, KEANE, Bangalore
and S.Sundaravadivelan General Manager IT Management Group,
WIPRO Technologies, Chennai, were the chief guests.
Ms. Yamuna Anandavalli advised the students to develop an
attitude to learn and excel in their field of interest, as
that alone would uplift them in their profession.
About 395 students from various disciplines were placed in companies
such as WIPRO, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant Technologies
Solutions, IBM, KEANE.
The college president, K.N.K. Ganesh, congratulated the students
and appreciated the faculty and training and placement team
for their efforts to achieve 82 percentage in placement.
In 2006 125 students were placed while 291 students got placement
in 2007 and in 2008 395 students got placed.
