Anna University, Coimbatore, to admit candidates for Ph. D. programme
619 candidates are selected to do the doctoral programmes
COIMBATORE: Anna University, Coimbatore, has published the names
of the candidates selected by the university to pursue the Ph.
D. programme.
Applications
According to a press release from the Vice-Chancellor, R. Radhakrishnan,
the results were published on April 12 and are available on
the university’s website www.annauniv.ac.in.
The university received 660 applications from candidates in
academic institutions, research organisations, industries
and Government departments, from different parts of the country.
Interviews for selecting the candidates were held on March
29, 30, April 5 and 6. Based on the recommendations of the
selection committee, 619 were selected to do the doctoral
programmes.
The admission for the selected candidates would be held on
April 25, 26 and 28 on the university premises.
