Dindigul: Communication skills including components like how
well we communicate, how do we sell our products, how we justify
the quality of product to customers, are essential to enter
into an industry, said Suresh Devrangadi, Business Manager,
Keane International India (P) Limited, in his lecture at a national-level
seminar on advances in information technology and computer applications
held at P.S.N.A. College of Engineering and Technology
in Dindigul recently.
Moreover, several ‘P’s – People, Product,
Process, Power and Performance – were important for a
product-oriented company. They must not compromise on the quality.
Mr. Rajesh Devadas, Project Manager, Hewlett Packard, in his
valedictory address opined that paper presenters should consult
with the industry to correlate their research with industry
needs.
Sixty papers were presented in the expo.
