Varsity to give integrated MBA course
TIRUCHI: Anna University–Tiruchi (AU-T) will introduce
MBA Integrated Programme from the coming academic year, Vice-Chancellor
V. Ramachandran said.
Inaugurating the Centre for Research and Excellence at Oxford
Engineering College here on Sunday as part of college day celebrations,
Dr. Ramachandran said that students could acquire additional
credits for the MBA programme that would be handled by qualified
faculty by studying for one more year.
Well patronised
Dr. Ramachandran said that the university’s faculty development
programme was being patronised well by teachers of polytechnic
colleges. Terming the programme a major achievement of the AU-T,
he said that it would go a long way in improving the standard
of education in polytechnic colleges. With a strong practical
exposure, the faculties of polytechnic colleges were fortifying
their knowledge with the theory inputs under the programme.Honouring
college toppers with medals and certificates, the Vice-Chancellor
complimented the college management for starting research facilities
in emerging areas. He also released a souvenir on the occasion.
College Chairman M. Subramaniam received the first copy. College
Principal V. K. Pandey spoke.
