“Engineers must take technologies to villages”
DINDIGUL: Young engineers must take technologies to rural areas
for development of villages as it was essential for the overall
development of the nation. Engineers and technocrats could take
the country to a higher level, said M. Rama Subba Reddy, Professor,
Department of Bio Medical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology,
Chennai.
He was addressing a national conference on Electronics, Systemics,
Informatics and Cybernetics at P.S.N.A. College of Engineering
and Technology here on Saturday. Engineers must solve
problems of local people. Institutional-action through mutual
understanding would be an added advantage for socio-economic
development of rural areas.
