MBBS applications
CHENNAI: Applications for the MBBS/BDS courses for the academic
year 2008-2009 will be on sale from June 3 until 3 p.m. on June
17. The last date for receipt of filled in applications is June
17 (up to 5 p.m.).
According to a press release from the Directorate of Medical
Education (DME), the merit list is likely to be published on
July 1 and the first phase of counselling will be held from
July 8 to July 16.
Counselling for 1398 MBBS seats in government colleges, 251
seats in private medical colleges, and 850 BDS seats (inclusive
of 85 government college seats) will be held at the Selection
committee office, DME, Kilpauk.
