ICTES 2007 hosted by Dr. MGR University
In an attempt to explore the deep-rooted linkages between the
existing and emerging concerns faced by the power and communication
sector, a three-day international conference on Information
and Communication Technology in Electrical Sciences was held
in Chennai on December 20 to 22.
The conference, with more than 300 delegates from India and
overseas, was hosted by the Dr. MGR University
and the UK’s Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Aim
ICTES 2007 aimed to develop decision making tools to address
the problems and create awareness of best practices.
It also offered an idea-sharing platform for students and professionals
to discover new avenues in the field of information and communication
technology.
