New courses from IGNOU
MADURAI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
has launched new programmes for forthcoming January ’08
session.
They include M.A. (Education), Postgraduate Diploma in Participatory
Management of Displacement, Resettlement and Rehabilitation,
and Diploma in Value Added Products from Cereals, Pulses and
Oilseeds.
The university has also introduced a Certificate programme in
Business Skills.
Last date
A press release from K. Panneerselvam, Regional Director of
IGNOU Sub-Regional Centre here, said that the last date for
submission of application forms for the January session had
been extended to December 12 for the benefit of candidates in
Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, Pudukottai, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram,
Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari districts.
The application forms and other details will be available at
all the Learner Support Centres of the university.
