Several options for B.Com. students

There are a number of options open for B.Com. students. You can opt for a professional course like CA or go for postgraduation in a suitable specialisation. Some courses for you are:

Master of Computer Applications: MCA imparts the basics of computer science. You can then update yourself with the latest technologies to seek a job in the specialised area you choose like programming or networking. Generally, the eligibility criterion is bachelor’s degree with mathematics/ computer science/ statistics as one of the subjects and the admission is based on performance in the entrance test


However, some colleges accept students with mathematics background till the Intermediate level.

Nirma University, Institute of Management, Gujarat, offers MBA in marketing, finance, human resource management, international business, operations management and information technology. CA: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India regulates the profession of Chartered Accountants.

The course involves Professional Competence Course, articled/ audit training, information technology training and final examination. The Board of Studies provides the study material. Chartered Financial Analyst: Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, Tripura, offers CFA course.
