Job fair on October 28
For engineering graduates in Tiruchi
Tiruchi: Anna University, Tiruchi, will host a major off-campus
drive that would be conducted by Infosys Technologies, on October
28, for the benefit of engineering graduates (B.E. and B.Tech)
and MCA holders who had passed out in 2007 from affiliated engineering
colleges in and around Tiruchi region.
Vice-Chancellor V. Ramachandran said in a communication that
placement officers of 50 affiliated colleges have been vested
with the responsibility of sending the list of participants
to the university by October 20.
Candidates have to contact their respective placement officers
for advance registration. Spot registration will not be accepted.
The participants must have scored at least 60 percent in standard
X and XII public examinations, and 68 per cent in graduation
and post graduation. Also, the participation is open for only
those candidates who had not attended the interview of Infosys
Technology (on-campus or off-campus) anytime after January 15,
2007.

Larsen & Toubro
Anna University, Tiruchi, will organise a campus recruitment
drive for Larsen and Toubro Limited on October 27.
The recruitment drive will be open for engineering students
graduating in 2008. Students of B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and
Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with at least
60 per cent marks in standards X, XII and graduation with no
history of arrears are eligible to attend the interviews to
be held at the university campus here. The candidates should
not have attended interviews for the company during the last
six months.
Interested candidates will have to register in advance. Candidates
will have to contact placement officers of the respective institutions
for registration for the interviews,.The placement officers
from the engineering colleges have been asked to send the final
list of candidates to the University by October 20.
