Anna University off-campus placement drive in Dindigul
At P.S.N.A. College of Engineering and Technology on October
16 and 17
Madurai: Anna University, Chennai, is organising an off-campus
recruitment drive for engineering graduates at P.S.N.A.
College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul.
Students who have completed engineering courses in 2007 from
colleges affiliated to Anna University can take part in the
drive organised on October 16 and 17 under Tamil Nadu State
Level Placement Programme. Sterlite Industries will be recruiting
candidates with the following criteria:
Graduates in the disciplines of B.E./B. Tech. (Civil, Mechanical,
Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical and Metallurgy). They
must possess an aggregate of 60 per cent in classes X, XII and
engineering. They must have cleared all subjects in Standard
X, XII and all the engineering subjects in first attempt.
Aspirants must not have had more than one year of gap between
Standard XII and engineering. No other break in regular course
of studies should be there. Age should not be more than 25 years
as on September 30.
The salary, according to a varsity press release, will be Rs.
3 lakh during the six months of training, Rs. 3.30 lakh during
the six months of probation and Rs. 3.63 lakh on confirmation.
D. Viswanathan, Vice-Chancellor, said that candidates should
bring two passport sized photographs, along with photocopies
of the Standard X and XII mark sheets and qualifying degree.
A written test and group discussion will be conducted on October
16 and the short-listed students will have to take the interview
the next day. All candidates should be preset at the college
on October 16 by 8 a.m. Further information can be obtained
