Varsity campus interviews from August 4
Over 1,000 students have already registered
Tiruchi: The Anna University, Tiruchi, will commence its week-long
campus recruitment drive for students in and around Tiruchi
on August 4.
The interviews will be held at the university’s Bharathidasan
Institute of Technology campus located on the Tiruchi - Pudukkottai
highway.
Final year degree students of affiliated colleges can attend
the recruitment drive organised by the university’s Professional
Development Education Centre. A highlight will be the participation
of science students along with engineering students.
Over 1,000 students have already registered for the interviews
through the colleges, said V. Damodaran, Placement In-Charge,
Anna University, Tiruchi.
The recruitment programme was finalised at a recent meeting
of placement officers from over 50 engineering colleges.
“They welcomed the initiative that would benefit qualified
students from affiliated colleges and rural students,”
said the Vice-Chancellor, V. Ramachandran.
Companies such as L & T Infotech, iFlex Solutions and Tata
Consultancy Services will conduct the interviews. M/s L &
T Infotech would interview graduate and post graduate engineering
students in circuit and non-circuit branches on August 4 and
5.
M/s iFlex Solutions would conduct its interviews on August 6
and 7 for Computer Science and Engineering, and Information
Technology students.
M/s Tata Consultancy Services would interview on August 8 and
9 science students who had graduated in 2007. B.Sc graduates
in any discipline and BCA students can attend.
TCS will provide training to the students before recruiting
them for software development and system administration positions.
