AMS students receive offers
JOB ASSURED: S.M. Shaik Nurddin, founder and chairman, AMS
group of institutions, hands over an offer letter to a student.
Chennai: Aalim Muhammed Salegh Engineering College (AMS), at
Avadi near Chennai, organised a function to distribute offer
letters from companies for its students last week.
In all, 53 Students passing out of academic year 2006-07 have
been recruited in Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Cognizant, IGate,
HCL, and ETA Ascon.
Yoosuf Mohammed, Director, Technology Practise, Cognizant Technology
Solutions; T. Jayaseelan, Assistant Controller of Defence Accounts,
who was the guest of honour, and S.M. Shaik Nurddin, Founder
and Chairman, Aalim Muhammed Salegh group of institutions, were
among those who participated.
Infosys has recruited 14 students, ETA Ascon 10, HCL 9, Wipro
7, Softlogic 6, and 2 each in Cognizant, IGate and 1 in L&T,
Quintegra and Maveric.
The college conducted several programmes to improve students'
communication skills and develop their personality. A total
of 28 students from the ECE stream, 16 from EEE and nine from
the CSE stream have been recruited.
