Engineering seats vacancy position
Chennai: A total of 1,342 candidates were allotted seats up to Saturday, the second day of general counselling for undergraduate engineering admissions. A total number of 1,812 candidates were called for counselling.
While 461 students absented themselves, nine skipped the process, a release here said.
The position as on Saturday is: Anna University (OC-181; BC-219; MBC-209; SC-258;ST-15),
government/aided colleges (OC-682; BC-744; MBC-623; SC-570;ST-32) and self-financing institutions (OC-15,872; BC-15,472; MBC-10,357; SC-9310 and ST-527).
